The Supply Chain
Due to ever increasing demand within GRCL projects, we have built a workforce of skilled operatives who are competent to undertake line side and
on-track duties for both Network Rail and London Underground infrastructures.
Our Permanent Way teams are seasoned railwaymen who are specialists in Plain Line Renewals, S&C and maintenance projects. Each team will, as a minimum have COSS, lookout and First Aid certification. Each individual will hold small plant & tool certification that will allow them to utilise their skills with the relevant plant and tools.
The Civils construction teams have a wealth of experience in all aspects of civil engineering and building works, concrete foundations, floor strengthening, troughing and cable route installation including equipment installation i.e. REB, Location Case, signals, gantries etc. Once again, these specialists are competent and hold the relevant training and experience required.
Our S&T Installation and Test & Commissioning teams have a significant number of years of experience working within these disciplines. All our technical resources are provided with the necessary competencies required to undertake their duties from management through to delivery. All our S&T resources are IRSE licensed and are provided with all necessary calibrated tools, certified tools, certified plant and consumables where necessary.
Over the last decade, GRCL has nurtured a multi-skilled directly employed workforce appropriate to the demands of projects within the railway infrastructures for Network Rail and London Underground. We have grown our internal competence database to match the industry needs and the needs of our clients, while ensuring that our project and on-site management teams are fluent with the design, methodology and associated risk assessments and with the implementation of site specific Method Statements / Work Package Plans to safely and successfully delivery the scope of works.
Our priority in the labour supply market is to deliver individuals and/or teams who are trained in the specific competences and meet rigorous industry standards and are able to deliver each scope of works safely to programme and to specification on a consistent basis.
