Expertise in all aspects of the management, installation and test & commissioning of railway signalling projects has helped build the reputation of Global Rail Construction as a force in the rail industry. Contracts that we have successfully completed include the following:

Thameslink Track Circuit Immunisation Works
Principal Contractor to Network Rail responsible for the design, build, installation, test and commissioning for 44No. TI21 Track Circuits, Works required the preparation, pre-testing and planning to successfully replace the existing AC Track Circuits with the new double rail TI21 Track Circuits.

Colchester to Clacton Re-signalling Project
Sub-Contractor to Signalling Solutions Ltd (Balfour Beatty/Alstom JV) to undertake the minor civils and S&T installation works on behalf of our client. Works included installation of location hardstands, equipment bases, cable, route works, point machines and associated rodding and all termination of cabling both main and tails to Location cases, REBs, signals, point machines and associated four foot equipment.

Coventry Area Re-signalling Project
Sub-Contractor to Invensys Rail Ltd for the signalling installation and significant packages of minor civil works for the scheme. Installation of cable route GRC/GRP and cable ducting, delivery and install of all four foot equipment including FTN and Tyrone Location Cabinets, REBs, fit-out and installation of Control Centre, installation of all four foot equipment, terminate and cable test prior to handover to our client for commissioning.

Neasden Depot De-Commissioning and Recovery Works
Principal Contractor to Metronet Rail to complete the asset decommissioning and recovery works associated with the upgrade of Neasden Depot. Works undertaken over a number of stages to allow for the introduction of additional stabling tracks to accommodate the new S8 rolling stock. Responsible for undertaking the project planning, co-ordination, on site installation and Testing support to decommissioning the signalling assets as required.

Our capabilities with regard to railway signalling installation include both electronic and relay interlocking, signalling control centres, Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Train Protection Warning Systems (TPWS) and Automatic Train Operation (ATO) systems and all trackside signalling equipment.
