Global Rail Construction has contributed to numerous high profile construction and maintenance projects since its establishment in 2001, under contract to Railtrack and London Underground Ltd. These include..

• Cable recovery of existing power cable between Holborn and Liverpool Street Stations on the London Underground.
• Civil re-instatement works on the Ladbroke Grove Project
• Total signalling installation package and cable testing on the HACM (Heuston, Clonsilla and Maynooth project in Ireland.
• Provision and installation of SDP concrete bases, access gates, cable containment and associated minor civil works on the Connect Enabling Project.
• Provision of IRSE licensed points installation and SMTH testing teams to undertake final gauging and FPL testing on completion of rail grinding/replacement works between Paddington, Reading and Didcott on behalf of Network Rail.
• Provision of IRSE licensed SMTH testing teams to undertake general maintenance duties between Paddington, Reading and Didcott as part of their ongoing maintenance programme requirements. Also responsible for the installation and upgrade of several point machines on the project.
• Sub-Contractor to AMEY Rail for the implementation, build and test IRO 80+ location cases for the Channel Tunnel Resignalling Project for Contract 550. Provision of IRSE licensed installation engineers to support the civil and signalling trackside installation works.
• SMTH management, survey, production of Method Statements and risk assessments and supply of test engineers to complete the plain line renewal works on the Great Western Zone on behalf of AMEY Rail.
• Provision of IRSE licensed installation, points fitting and SMTH testing engineers to support Westinghouse Rail Systems scope of works on the WCML project
• Sub-Contractor to McNicholas Rail responsible for the installation of all associated FTN works and associated cabling for large sections on the FTN1 – Kent/Sussex and FTN2 – Leeds area projects.
