GRCL provide experienced M&E qualified personnel who have many years of experience on and off rail with involvement in high profile projects such as the Jubilee Line Upgrade Project, White City sub-station, sub-surface lines Phase 1b (Metropolitan Line), Oxford Circus LV and HV cable and containment installation.

Project Portfolio:

White City Redevelopment
Sub-Contractor to Balfour Beatty Engineering Services Ltd to provide management, materials, skilled labour and plant to complete the cable containment/installation and termination of LV and HV cabling for the new sub-station.

Jubilee Line Upgrade Project
Sub-Contractor to Thales Rail Signalling Solutions to undertake the civil, mechanical and electrical installation of signal/indicator posts and associated foundation bases with the majority poured in situ. Works included the collection, delivery, mechanical dress and preparation works prior to installation trackside of some 250 assets on the JLE. All works successfully installed to date within particularly tight durations including the successful installation of 14 No. concrete bases within a single 12 hour shift and a further 10 bases within a single 10 hour shift period.

Sub-Surface Lines – Power Supply Upgrade Project Phase 1b (Metropolitan Line)
Sub-Contractor to Balfour Beatty Engineering Services Ltd to complete the design and build works associated with 11 No. sub-stations on the Metropolitan Line. Works include the design, provision and installation of floor strengthening works, concrete foundation and equipment installation, cable containment and cable installation works and demolition as required.

Victoria Line HVAC Ventilation and Cooling Project
Sub-Contractor providing design and build to facilitate installation of ventilation and cooling units to 7 No. sub-stations on the Victoria Line.

Kings Cross Station
Sub-Contractor to EDF to undertake the total management, procurement, installation, testing and changeover for 1 No. LV cable at Kings Cross Station (LUL).  Responsible for the provision of method statement and project delivery to install cable containment and cable, test and commission 1 No. 300mm2 LV cable within and extremely tight programme.

Oxford Circus Station – LV Power Cable Installation
Sub-Contractor to EDF working on behalf of Metronet to deliver and install LV and CPC cable within the Ticket Hall, lift shafts and switchrooms as part of the station refurbishment works.

Temple Mills Power Upgrade
Sub-Contractor to Balfour Beatty Power Networks to procure and build 4 No. Power Supply cubicles for the west and east side of the Temple Mills site. Works require the management, logistics management, procurement, delivery and handover to the client to commence power supply installation.
