The Journey So Far

Founded by Marco Lombardelli and Ivan Holloway, Global Rail Construction was incorporated in August 2001 and by the end of the decade had grown into a business with a combined turnover of £18m. Our resources and capacity include nearly 200 highly skilled personnel and, as of 2007, new headquarters close to London at Hatfield in Hertfordshire. The company has offices in Ipswich and Dublin, from where GRCL’s sister company Global Rail Services Limited similarly supports the rail and construction industries in Ireland.
