GRCL’s Civil and Structural engineering design division is Link-Up approved Civil Engineering Consultancy (402) and Building Consultancy (418) respectively.

From our Head office in Hatfield, this growing and forward thinking division recognises the need to adapt to new technology and structural engineering innovation. Both uphold the ideal that efficiency in design and resources leads to economical practical structural solutions, which has obvious advantages in terms of cost and shorter construction times. The Principal Design Manager is supported by an experienced and enthusiastic team who are responsible for providing a professional service upon which its reputation has been established and permanent client relationships are forged.

All projects are monitored with close contact between client and GRCL’s design & build team being maintained at all times. GRCL operate Auto CAD and Micro station Computer Aided drawing systems and computer aided design is supported by CSC Tedds software to assist with structural analysis and design with all members of staff having their own email addresses ensuring rapid response times and the efficient exchange of digital information at all times.

A strong reputation for design and value engineering has been gained by adhering to tight programme schedules and exercising strict budget controls, while ensuring quality of service.

GRCL views the future in the infrastructure rail sector with optimism and will continue to offer a comprehensive service to clients based on a creative design ethic combined with the flexible execution of its brief.
